Family Christian Academy Girls Volleyball is really starting to take off. Since the school was first opened in the 1980’s Volleyball has seen its share of struggles, but in the past seven years Volleyball has found its place at FCA. We have made playoff appearances and are striving to be at that next level. The girls work hard and are dedicated to their sport. We have started to expand our level of competition by playing in summer leagues and attending camps.
Through my years of coaching at FCA I have learned that it’s not always how much you know about the game, it is what the team is willing to put into learning about the game and developing as an individual as well as a team.

More importantly each athlete represents more then just themselves, but also Jesus Christ. Volleyball is a ministry here at FCA. This team shows Christ-like characteristics both on and off of the court. We know that win or lose we give all the glory to God. In all victories we remain humble and show that Christ is the center of our program. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).

For the 2013 Season, FCA Volleyball had an 8 – 13 overall record and 4- 4 in District. This season we have 3 girls who have received 1st Team All – District, (Bethany George/Sr, Ambria Martin/Soph, and Tayler Robertson/Fr). We are expecting great things in our future as a team. I look forward to our many accomplishments here at Family Christian Academy.
